It is hosted by three British gear heads. Jeremy Clarkson, a brash, outspoken man who grunts "Power!" as he power slides cars side ways around the track. Richard Hammond, aka Hamster, is a closet American who owns a Ford Mustang. James May, aka Captain Slow, is often ridiculed by his co-hosts for driving slow and having the an impossible sense of direction. In this particular episode, they get hold of 3 American muscle cars and set off to Bonneville salt flats from San Francisco. I thought y'all might want to watch the second part, which is mostly about crossing Nevada into Utah. If you have time, it's worth watching the whole thing. They do some speed runs on the salt flat in part 3. It is obviously much different than what we'll be experiencing, but I just can't help but be excited about driving in that landscape. I've been watching this to get pumped up for the trip.
